Mama's boy...

Well...it's happening... whether I like it or not. My little BABY is growing up :( Soon he'll be turning two and the phrase "baby" just won't do anymore. Sure I could still CALL him a baby, and hold him like a baby, but the hard truth is that very quickly that little baby is fading away and being replaced by a very independent, adventurous BOY! Like any change, it must be embraced because it's just the way it is. And as a Mama bird I must happily push my baby bird towards the edge of the nest little by little. But I just wish I would have taken more time to cherish every little moment, because I never knew how fast it would fly by. Guess it's time to start thinking about a baby brother... or sister... lol
